The Executive Committee is the executive body of local self-government

The Executive Committee of Kazan is an executive and administrative body of local self-government of Kazan. The Charter of Kazan endowed it the powers to address issues of local importance, the implementation of certain state powers transferred to the local government bodies of Kazan by federal laws and laws of the Republic of Tatarstan.
