Department for cooperation with public organizations

The main activity of the Department for cooperation with public organizations is to coordinate the activities of local governments in their relations with religious and political organizations.

The Kazan Executive Committee maintains communication and interaction with these public organizations for the following purposes:

- implementing legislation in the socio-political and religious spheres;

- providing necessary assistance in their socially beneficial and socially significant activities;

- supporting interfaith understanding and harmony;

- maintaining socio-political stability in the city.
